Overview

Kerala , “God’s own Country’’ is one of the most beautiful state in Southern part of India on the Malabar Coast which blessed with unique geographical features that have made it one of the most sought after tourist destinations in India. Kerala is surrounded by backwaters lies with Palm trees, stunning hill stations, wildlife, rich culture and heritage. The ‘Best of Kerala Tour’ package is well designed package which give you chance to explore the spectacular backwaters, beautiful hill stations along with that you will also get an opportunity to understand the wildlife at Eravikulam National Park. A former hunting preserve of British planters this park today exemplifies wildlife conservation at its best. The main draw here is the Nilgiri Tahr, a highly endangered species of wild goat which was all put poached to extinction in 1950, before an NGO stepped in and ensured the habitat was delayered a sanctuary. The sanctuary is located at the height of about 7000 feet, will offers the stunning views of the surroundings. The duration of the package is 06 nights and 07 days. Covering the places such as Cochin, Munnar, Alleppey, Kovalam and Thiruvananthapuram.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cochin Sightseeing

Upon arrive in Cochin airport, meet our representative, after welcome, and proceed to the hotel.
Kochi is one of the most important city of Kerala which is also known as Cochin Located on the south-west coast in Kerala which is also known as the Gateway to Kerala, situated on the Arabian Sea. Kochi is one of the most beautiful city of the state of Kerala.

On arrival at your pre-booked hotel. Check in to the hotel. Rest for a while. Post lunch, proceed for a half day sightseeing covering the places such as Bolgatty Palace, Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue and Chinese fishing nets and spice market.

In the evening, enjoy the Kathakali dance performance. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Cochin-Munnar (By Road-130 Kilometres) Sightseeing

Today, after having breakfast, proceed to Munnar by road.  The town is one of the most picturesque hill station in the Idukki district of Kerala. The town is located at the foothill of the Western Ghats mountain range, at the height of about 5,200 feet above from the sea level. Also offers the exotic species of flora and fauna, which enhances the beauty of the town.  Munnar is not popular as a hill resort, but it is also the centre of the Kerala’s tea growing district, aptly known as the high range.
On arrival, check into the hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure or you explore the surroundings at your won or you make also visit some local market where you can buy some authentic handicraft items of Kerala. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 3: Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of  Munnar., you will visit the major attractions Including Christ Church which was established in 1910 by the British, visit Eravikulam National Park which is the home of Nilgiri Tahr apart from this is also vast flora and fauna.

Then explore Mattupetty DamIt is located at the distance of 13 kilometres away from Munnar. This 160 feet high dam has vast reservoir extending several kilometres into the hill. Cruising here is an amazing experience. It is offering occasional sightings of elephant, gaur as well as sambar and Anamudi peak it located at the elevation of 2695 meter above the sea level, the peak is located within Eravikulam, you may also get a trekking opportunities here.

Day 4: Munnar-Alleppey-(By Road- 179 Kilometres)-Kumarakoam (By Houseboat)

Today after breakfast, drive to Alleppey. On arrival at Alleppy, board a houseboat from Alleppey to Kumarakom. Kumarakom, it is one of the major tourist destination of the state of Kerala. It is renowned for backwater, located on the Vembanad Lake, which is the largest lake of fresh water. Enjoy the backwater.
Stay overnight on board the houseboat.

Day 5: Kumarakoam-Kovalam (By Road-180 Kilometres) Sightseeing

Today after breakfast, proceed to Kovalam.The city of Kovalam is Kerala’s most popular tourist attraction. This beach town is located on the shores of Arabian Sea in Thiruvananthapuram city. The meaning of Kovalam is a grove of coconut trees which gives it the true significance as the entire town is surrounded by coconut trees. Three crescent shaped beaches separated by rocky headlands are the main hotspot here.

On arrival, check in at the resort. Overnight stay at a resort. After freshen up, you have the choice to explore the beautiful beaches the town such as Hawa Beach, Lighthouse Beach and Samudra Beach, apart from this you may also enjoy the water sports activity such as kayaking, skiing swimming, you may also take relaxing Ayurvedic massage as well. Overnight Stay in Kovalam.

Day 6: Kovalam Sightseeing

Today after having breakfast, proceed towards Kanyakumari, known as Cape Comorin during the British period, it is one of the holiest place for Hindus, located on the foothill of Cardamom Hills. It is home an oldest Lord Shiva temple. You will also get the chance to explore the beaches here. Apart from this visit Padmanabhapuram Palace which is the magnificent architecture gem constructed during the 16th century.
Back to Kovalam in the evening. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 7: Kovalam-Trivandrum (Departure and sightseeing) (By Road-19 kilometres)

Today is the last day of the tour, after breakfast, proceed to the Trivandrum, and enjoy the morning sightseeing tour of Trivandrum. Later proceed the airport for boarding a flight to your onward destination. We hope you have enjoyed your trip and look forward to organizing your next tour with us.
